Specifications:
Robusta represents about 90% of national production and grows in the plains of the south and west of the island, at altitudes below 800 meters. Dry tropical climates and sandy soils are best suited.
This variety of coffee is characterized by a stronger and more bitter taste. With a higher caffeine content (between 2 and 2.5%) and better resistance to diseases, it is generally used to strengthen the body and cream of espresso blends.
